The Glarry GST3 is a new entry to the affordable Stratocaster-copy market, and is likely the cheapest on the market, coming in at around $60 via their website. While they are plenty of playability and tonal issues we’ll discuss later, the construction and build quality is a pleasant surprise for this price. Even if the guitar itself doesn’t impress you, it may be a perfect partscaster project waiting to happen. At the end of the day if this is the only guitar you can afford than it will get the job done, but if you can afford more, you should spend more. The neck is wide, and somewhat unwieldy and uncomfortable, making it a poor choice as a beginner instrument. Clearly you shouldn’t expect a 2 thousand Euro Original P-Bass, but after setting up the GP 4-string that I bought from Glarry for 88 Euros… We ordered a 3/4 GV100 violin and what we received was essentially trash. It was only about $60.00 but it’s so awful no one even wants it as a donation.
We have everything you need to satisfy your guitar cravings and fill up your Easter basket with your favorite guitar. My grandson loves it arrived in perfect condition. And the price, I feel like I owe them more money since it was delivered. No problems what so ever and with my grandson that’s saying something. Needed a little setup but not a big deal. I would not recommend this for adult learners looking for a more advanced keyboard with damper pedals. However, it’s a great option for young beginners just starting out. While I did dial in sounds I was happy with I couldn’t help but feel something was just off while playing the GTL.
Those do it yourselfers/luthiers that have the tools and know how, it’s a descent guitar to work on and just like anything else, the more work you put into it the better it will be. The Glarry GST sent to me really only needed the intonation setup and string action adjusted to be playable so that’s not too bad for an extremely affordable guitar. Glarry’s marketing strategy has been unique. They have kept their eyes on guitar geeks who post reviews on YouTube and have offered to send these people complimentary guitars to test and keep afterward. Most of these videos have bee positive toward the Glarry guitars. Glarry also posts a number of reviews on its website () and answers to any negative feedback.
